Detroit Auto Show | 2011 Hyundai Veloster

Hyundai steps up their sport compact game with the 2011 Veloster.  Falling in the same pseudo-urban category and price range as Toyota's Scion series, Nissan's Rogue & Juke and Honda's Element, the Veloster is a 3-door coupe that gets an estimated 40 mpg.

With a base 1.6 liter 138bhp engine, there is rumor spreading that a 210bhp turbo charged version could be hit U.S. shores come 2012.  Available in 6 speed manual, Hyundai is also offering a Formula One inspired 6 speed dual-clutch automatic.  Some of you might not know or care what the benefits of a dual clutch are, so I'll just give you the Wiki page that scientifically explains it >>HERE<<
