Actually, next month they will.

The Japanese builder plans on premiering the Esflow at March's Geneva Auto Show. The sleek aerodynamic concept built to compete with the Tesla Roadster, is much more then a 370Z with an electric motor, the Esflow was engineered from the ground up.
Nissan still hasn't spec'd the car beyond saying it has two motors mounted just above and ahead of the rear axle. The battery is the standard vehicle capable lithium-ion, centered low between the axles to improve handling and a claimed range of 149 miles. Being as the Nissan Leaf packs a 24 kilowatt-hour power cell pushing it an EPA-certified 73 miles, they're either linin' up a big fucking battery or some type of new power engineering to beat the mileage of the Leaf.
Strapped to an aluminum chassis, Nissan claims the Esflow can run 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds. The 370Z in all of it's glorious premium unleaded guzzling glory does it in 4.7.
Is this the new age of muscle cars? Are we going to see electric giants haul down the 1320 with only the sound of tires squealing and magnetos whining?! I'm getting excited just thinking about it.
Now being a concept, don't expect Nissan to give a straight answer on "If or When", but only to "How Many and How Much". As in how many can they actually sell and how much are we willing to spend? I'll tell you now, if I have the dough, put my name first on the interest list!
Girl, you a sexy bitch!
