HTC Wants To Put A Mobile Device In Your Car | Auto-Moto

As in one made specifically for your vehicle or to integrate more smoothly with it. Engadget found a job post on HTC's career page that states:

HTC is looking for an experienced leader in the automotive electronics industry to develop business in the North American Automotive market. The individual will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, identifying potential opportunities, and staying abreast of the automotive industry. They will represent HTC to customers and through speaking engagements at industry conferences. The position has a North America focus including major vehicle OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers. The qualified candidate will have experience in the automotive electronics, infotainment, and aftermarket.

Interesting. I know guys with iPad docks in their pick ups that watch movies in traffic and I've read about Ford and Toyota's new audio systems that will use your bluetooth to stream Pandora and Slacker.  But when it comes to the idea of an HTC branded in car entertainment system... I say ABOUT TIME!

Hook me up with an EVO 4G in my truck and I just might not want to get out!
