My biggest argument pro-phone hacks is that if I can purchase a PC or laptop and customize it in any form I wish, why don't phone manufacturers allow the same for mobile devices. It is a volatile industry were standards change daily, so concern for maintaining proprietary wares are down right unnecessary because there's a good chance it's gonna be outdated in 3 months.
