With the aggressive styling straight from the Civic World Touring Car Championship, the aerodynamics add a true function from the front splitters to running boards to the two tier wing. Power comes from a new 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo, being the first in a line of new engine line from the manufacturer. Rumored to be a 275+ horsepower screamer, Honda hope the Type-R will set a new FWD time at Nurburgring.
Now even though there is little chance for the production model to actually look like this beautiful concept or make it stateside, it does set some new standards for replicas and clones.
